The weather here in the DC/NoVA area has been perfect.  It is such that all we think about is beautifying our yard.

This corner needed help, so Katy planned and planted some flowers to spruce it up.

Spent my day reading, after all everybody was raving about it, so I decided I needed to find out what the big deal was...

Spent some time at USCG Headquarters....

Rejoining the Ombudsman world, instead of just advocating for them, I will again wear the hat of an Ombudsman supporting the families.

I had problems downloading my pictures from my camera to the computer, so many are gone, including many from our Disney trip.  : (

Today was a "catch up" day...a day to do laundry, as it can pile up after being gone for over a week.

But my picture, will have to be a picture taken on a different day.

All of this needed to be washed and put away.

Since we were there the day before their Garden Festival so the topiaries were out.

While visiting my Daughter-in-law and grandkids, I had the 

opportunity to visit with a friend I met several years ago!
